oic..nice... does the infrared filter can produce similiar effect.. i check the 77mm IF filter, cost 150++ ..not cheap as well.

An infrared filter, such as an R72 can produce similar effects, but is much more difficult to use. You have to use a tripod & cable or remote shutter release. You have to set up your shot before placing the filter on the lens as you can't see through the filter, because it is very dark. You must must use a very slow shutter speed as the filter is quite dark. Any sort of shake or movement can mess up your shot. The cost of the filter is far less than converting a camera. A converted camera is much easier to use. It's really a matter of preference & cost.:D

wow..thanks so much for the explanation. How much does it cost to convert a camera? probably i should convert my retired SLR since it is just keep in rack.
I nv really study about this. Now only i know i cant see thru the filter.
If we are using the infrared filter, how much stops it get lower?

You're welcome! It's pretty expensive, I think it cost around $500 US to convert my old Canon Rebel XSi. It was a little more expensive than usual because it required an extral large internal filter. That's something you would have to experiment with. It kind of varies.
