Great photo.
I have been in houses like this before. Usually out in the country. This one house still had mummified food on the table. All the furniture was still there. Clothes in the closets. The barn was still filled up with various items. Apparently, the owner died and he didn't have any family. The house & property was sold to another farmer and was never occupied again.
The new owner just wanted to farm the land.
